Board member and CO-C.E.O for Agripreneurship Quality Development

Richard was formerly a Portfolio Manager for Root Capital, a US-based social investment fund. His portfolio covers Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Eastern DRC, with a loan book size of $16m. Before joining Root Capital, Richard worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers – Uganda as an external auditor, TechnoServe – Uganda as an accountant and Kilicafe in Tanzania as a Financial Controller. He is currently the East Africa Director for Investment with Yunus Social Business Uganda.

Privately, Richard is a livestock rancher and crop farmer as well as a passionate promoter of practical environmental conservation.
