We support State Capacity Building Programmes

We support government in the development and implementation of policies and initiatives that enhance the competitiveness of the agribusiness industry, ensuring food security and positioning agribusiness as a key driver for growth in the Ugandan economy.

We lead strategic engagements with and support capacity-building initiatives/programmes for Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), as well as deepening relations with them in a way that will eventually ignite and sustain systemic change that affects agribusiness development in Uganda. This also entails supporting government in:

1. developing policies, strategies, implementation plans and initiatives/programmes;
2. improving collaboration with the private sector agribusiness industry and getting their buy-in, with regards to what government is trying to achieve;
3. rationalising its plans, budgets and initiatives.
