Dr. Juliet Sentumbwe is a Veterinarian by profession with passion for agriculture in general, and specialised in Animal Nutrition. Juliet first worked on private livestock farms for five years before joining the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and fisheries from where she retired in October 2022, having served for 30 years. During that period of time, she gained experience in formulation, review, implementation, monitoring and appraisal of agriculture and veterinary policies, plans, programmes and projects. As a result, she gained vast experience in working with all Calibre of people including those in public and private sector, and with development partners. Juliet was given different responsibilities and held several challenging managerial and leadership positions culminating into holding portfolio for Director of Animal Resources in the Ministry, Animal Industry and Fisheries, at her time of retirement. Juliet is retired but not yet tired to continue supporting and developing the agriculture she has been practicing with dedication both privately and publicly.
